Anyways, I saw something that might provide a few laughs for a couple of you.

Try searching, "(your name here) needs" on google or whatever and read the first ten or so sentences that come up.

For example: I typed in "John needs" and this is what I got...

1) John Needs Different Lights for TV Special.
2) John Needs Advice!
3) John Needs Help.
4) John needs to see.
5) John needs a "matched donor."
6) John needs a new name.
7) John needs a way to assign an item's UUID to an attribute (as opposed to
assigning a reference), so I added a new form of attribute-assignment to
parcel.xml.
8) John needs to be allowed to take risks involved in learning new things.
9) John needs to embrace 'family values' Gay or straight, immigrant or Saint.
10) John needs a good home.

Number 10 is especially true, But I think nine is my favorite.

That's all.
Well, it is now midnight and I still have yet to head off to the study room. For those of you who may see this and don't know, This has by far been my most taxing semester of college yet. Physically, mentally, emotionally and academically stressful and challenging. I still feeling as though I am failing in all of those categories but there are a few times now and then(this being one of those times)that I feel a glimmer of hope. Most often this feeling comes from a time where I hit the bottom of desperation and cry out to God in a way that is more genuine than my usual relationship with Him. But sometimes I honestly feel numb to our relationship as I have the past two days and find it hard to allow myself to call on him in that way. Tonight I was given hope by the passion and excitement that rose in me while attempting to help a friend become better equipped to share his faith and the reasons for it with his friend. While writing to him, my headache left, my thoughts were clear, I felt confidence. I believe this is because I was in a way applying what I have learned. I was pouring out some of what was within me rather than keeping it all in and remaining full.

Last week in my preaching class, Jon Cobler shared about the importance of pouring out what we get filled with here into others. If we don't we tend to just stay full imagine what you feel like on thanksgiving after the meal. You don't to move, you barely want to talk. It is nap time.

I think that same thing can happen to us mentally concerning our knowledge intake. We need to be making room for more while giving what we have to others and thus being able to be moved and used rather than just napping.

Anyways, I am in a very interesting and Extremely difficult process and phase of my life right now but I am praying that I would have more and more times that I come to end f myself and cry out for genuine help from God as well as these opportunities to empty myself of all that has been piled up over the past four years.

To those of you who are playing key roles in helping me to experience these times of growth and hope, Thank you.

so, that is that. I just felt the urge to update this thing and let you know where I am at right now.

Blessings.

So the last three days have been a little crazy with my most adored computer. I had to fix three things one after another. All I have to say is that Apple support team, you guys were incredible. I thank you.

On the sweet side everything looks and runs better than ever. I just have to re register everything and set up all of my preferences again. It is not that big of deal because I know more about macs now so I can choose things more wisely.

Apologies for subjecting all of you to this incredibly insightful post. But hey that is what is going on with me today.

Also, Chapel was in my opinion one of the best in my four years here. Thank you mr. quaye for listening to God on the way to school and sharing his thoughts with us. And thank you mr. leonard for giving me the truth about what I am in for and encouraging us to let God fight for us and give the battles to him. As I said, one of my favorites of my time here.

I have changed so much in so many things this semester.

Here is an example. I now go to bed at 10:00 so I can wake up at 6:30am and do homework.
For those of you that know me, you understand what a monumental change this is.

I just wanted to share that because it is so weird.

Hey Jackson, it was wonderful to hear your voice tonight. I like you.

Also, to my lady: I had a great time with you today. Thank you for helping me to think through stuff.
One day you half enjoy a delicious chai drink.

goodnight.

Pacific College has recieved full acredidation with WASC.

I don't think this affects me very much seeing as how if i do go on for more schooling it will likely be at Seminary or something like that. Or maybe I will go to UCLA then follow in the footsteps of the man I currently live with and become a SCIENTIST.

Yes,I live with a scientist.
Hey I finally got all the pictures I took at Hume Lake up. I realized I have no pictures of my fish. just as well. Three small suckers they were.

I apologize as the images are huge and I didn't have time to go through and re-size them all. Please forgive me.

I stinkin love Hume Lake. It reminds me of Oregon, a lot. Well here you go, if you want to see a barrage of outdoor imagery, just click on the folling magical link my friend.

http://img2.photobucket.com/albums/v11/popejohntheiv/Hume Lake/ (after you hit the link press the spacebar and type "Lake/" just as you see above. Then hit go on the browser. Sorry for being so complicated. I just wanted it to be more of an adventure for you to get there)

Oh yeah, there are like three pages of 'em. I will understand if you get slightly bored and don't look at all of them but YOU SHOULD!

And when it asks for a password type in "randy"

I went to Sequoia National Park this weekend for a men's retreat. It was incredible. This was my second time there. I completely relaxed, went on a few hikes (I found that I could follow a river upstream for days), and even caught three rainbow trout.

I took a bunch of pictures so hopefully I will get those up somewhere soon and any of you who are interested can look and be envious of my weekend in the mountains.
